Success at TOP 100: attempto Among the Innovation Leaders 2018
Überlingen – For the 25th time, the TOP 100 competition recognizes the most innovative companies in the German Mittelstand. This year, attempto GmbH & Co. KG is among these innovation leaders. In the independent selection process, the company with nearly 100 employees particularly impressed with the organization of its innovative processes. In the area of innovation management, attempto even ranks among the TOP 10 companies. This was the finding of the analysis conducted by the scientific director of TOP 100, Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke. As mentor of TOP 100, Ranga Yogeshwar will honor the company from Aschheim together with Franke and compamedia at the award ceremony in Ludwigsburg on June 29, 2018, as part of the 5th German Mittelstand Summit.
The focus of attempto GmbH & Co. KG has been on digitalization and mobile technologies in the financial sector for many years. On the management consultancy’s tenth anniversary in 2016, CEO Franz Berno Breitruck appointed a three-member advisory board. This trio has since been supporting and advising the Munich-based TOP 100 company on key issues. One of the most important strategic decisions made together was to give IT a prominent position at management level while simultaneously establishing the “attempto Innovations-Manufaktur (aim).” “The motivation and passion to discuss and develop new topics together requires a great deal of trust and ensures high satisfaction on all sides,” Breitruck describes this intensive exchange with the scientific community.
The two branch offices in Karlsruhe and Münster contribute to the company’s significant growth alongside the headquarters in Aschheim near Munich. “Demand for our expertise has increased enormously there,” Breitruck notes. The approximately 90 employees around the CEO are happy to embrace this challenge.
TOP 100: The Competition
Since 1993, compamedia has awarded the TOP 100 seal for outstanding innovation strength and above-average innovation success to medium-sized enterprises. The scientific leadership has been in the hands of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke since 2002. Franke is the founder and director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. The mentor of TOP 100 is science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar. Project partners are the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft for the Promotion of Applied Research and the BVMW.
