Überlingen – For the fourth consecutive time, attempto has been awarded the TOP 100 Innovation Prize. This places the company among the most innovative medium-sized firms in all of Germany and demonstrates its ability to think outside the box and develop future-proof solutions and products even in times of crisis. In the scientific selection process, the company impressed in size category B (51 to 200 employees), particularly in the categories of innovation climate and external orientation / open innovation.
The year 2020 presented companies of all sizes with extraordinary challenges that put flexibility, creativity, and the readiness to digitalize business processes to the test. The TOP 100 Award demonstrates that attempto not only mastered these challenges exceptionally well but also went the extra mile to support employees, clients, and social institutions.
“It was particularly important to us that our employees could balance their professional and family lives,” says Berno Breitruck, CEO of attempto. Courses, individual and group coaching, personal conversations, business and tech talks helped employees organize their family lives while staying up to date professionally.
Beyond that, attempto made a contribution to the common good. In the attempto Innovations-Manufaktur, employees developed the Alexa Show, among other projects, to provide digital assistance in the care sector. “We take our social responsibility seriously. The visitor ban led to great emotional distress among care home residents, caregivers, and family members. By introducing the Alexa Show, we were able to enable residents of care homes to maintain COVID-compliant contact with their families. The simple voice control is usable at any time and immediately, even for elderly or ill individuals,” says Berno Breitruck.
Despite the COVID-19 crisis, sustainability and responsible resource management remain the defining challenges, which attempto addresses with CO2COIN and the eco-depot Treeam, making an innovative contribution.
