Award: attempto is among the TOP 100

Überlingen — attempto GmbH & Co. KG from Aschheim has made it among the best in the 26th edition of the TOP 100 innovation competition. The company will therefore be honored on June 28 by the competition’s mentor, Ranga Yogeshwar, the scientific director of the benchmarking study, Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, and compamedia at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt. Using a scientific methodology, TOP 100 evaluates the innovation management of medium-sized companies. In the independent selection process, the company with 102 employees particularly impressed in the “Innovation climate” category and with its innovation success. attempto made it into the innovation elite for the second time.

Identifying the signs of change and recognizing trends early on is one of the core competencies of the top innovator from Aschheim. Franz Berno Breitruck, Managing Director of the IT large-scale project consulting firm, has therefore also entered into partnerships with companies from Silicon Valley. The focus is on mobile technologies in the financial sector and the changing payment landscape. In this area, the two-time TOP 100 company offers a maximum of security.

At the heart of the company is the “attempto Innovations-Manufaktur (aim),” whose services range from consulting to the delivery of developed software, including maintenance. The teams are composed of business economists, banking professionals, engineers, and IT specialists. 102 employees work for attempto. Breitruck also attributes the success to the exceptional innovation climate: “We don’t confine ourselves to rigid structures and rely on flat hierarchies.”

The development of online portals is one of the company’s strengths. This is reflected in prominent and leading portals across various industries, in which attempto plays a significant role.

TOP 100: The Competition

Since 1993, compamedia has awarded the TOP 100 seal for outstanding innovation strength and above-average innovation success to medium-sized companies. The scientific leadership has been in the hands of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke since 2002. Franke is the founder and director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. The mentor of TOP 100 is science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar. Project partners include the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft for the Advancement of Applied Research and the BVMW.
