Munich/Oberhaching — attempto GmbH & Co. KG has achieved a significant success at the Top 100 Awards, which recognizes medium-sized enterprises for their outstanding innovation achievements: the company was awarded second place, placing it among Germany’s absolute innovation leaders. In total, attempto has received the TOP 100 distinction for the seventh consecutive time. At the award ceremony on June 28, 2024, in Weimar, science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar congratulated the company on this outstanding achievement.
“Innovation has been deeply rooted in our corporate culture since attempto was founded — and we are all the more proud that our commitment has once again been recognized,” said Franz Berno Breitruck, Managing Director of attempto GmbH & Co. KG.
The Top 100 Awards are based on a scientific selection process. Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, the distinguished jury of experts from science, business, and politics evaluated companies on more than 100 criteria across five categories: Innovation-Promoting Top Management, Innovation Climate, Innovative Processes and Organization, and External Orientation/Open Innovation. Additionally, the company’s innovation success is assessed.
A key criterion in the selection process: Are a company’s innovations merely coincidental, or are they systematically embedded in the corporate culture? Here, attempto was able to convince the jury through consistent innovation management that permeates all areas of the company: while the in-house attempto Lab and the attempto Innovationsmanufaktur focus on trend monitoring and exploration of new technologies, the Business Development team is responsible for translating these insights into concrete offerings for clients. Furthermore, the Product Development unit creates proprietary products such as Profilery, Bio123, and Treeam. These pillars are complemented by the attempto Akademie, which strategically drives the development of all employees, thereby ensuring attempto’s capacity for innovation.
